Not bad - the lower part of the page isn't quite the same "yellow" as in your logo. However, it is easy to read, pleasing to the eye - a "warm" feel to the sight. I'm curious about the preference by gender/age breakout - it's not real "edgy" if you know what I mean; but does anyone really care?
I shuffled some of the colors... What do you think about these? I find that working with the blogspot templates, there aren't a ton of options, unless there's something I'm missing. They give you a palette of colors, and then you're sort of confined within those parameters.

I appreciate your feedback!
I like the blue much better than the yellow, and much much better than the light house motif.
The links under the "about us" are easier to read than the blog archive. Anyway you can make the font bigger?
I'm not sure it needs to be "edgy" we can save the fancy design techniques for the real website.
